HARMONICS
The next module in INDUSTRIAL MUSIC ELECTRONICS' IRON CURTAIN ELECTRONICS series:
HARMONICS is a 2-stage wavefolder adapted from the Alisa 1377 synthesizer. The suggested use is to fold a plain sine or triangle wave from your oscillator. With any other input, it will eagerly shred and contort any continuous slope on your input waveform, crudely reminiscent of West Coast complex waveform generation. The diode distortion provides plenty of content for your filter to chew on.
The IME modular implementation of this circuit features:
- Wet/dry control
- Manual and voltage controlled fold amount
- Symmetry control with external input
The gain control is realized with a modern matched transistor pair. There is a DIP footprint nearby if you'd like to replace that part with one of the original Soviet devices.
Other IRON CURTAIN DEVICES emerging for sale soon, both old and new.
